This is one of the most popular spectator events in Australia. Melbourne Cup is major annual thoroughbred horse race that is allowed for three year olds and over. The race has a distance of 3,200 meters and billed as the race stops a nation. Melbourne Cup also regarded as the most two-mile’s world prestigious handicap. Usually, the event held in November’s first Tuesday by the Victoria Racing Club. The race located in Melbourne at the Flemington Racecourse.
In 2007, the winner was Efficient horse that ridden by Michael Rodd, owned by Lloyd Williams and trained by Graeme Rogerson. Since Phar Lap, Efficient has became the first winner of the Victoria Derby, before won the Melbourne Cup in the following year. In 1993 and 2002, the first two successful of “foreign raids” reached by trainer from Irish Dermot K. Weld and one in 2006 by Katsumi Yoshida from Japan.
