Title Tag, a different giver

After we know about Meta Tag, now much better if we also get to know more about Title Tag, which is the “partner” of Meta Tag. But, why I said “partner”? Because of both are placed on the same location on HTML page, which is on HEAD section.

Usually the Title Tag structures such like this:

[ html ]
[ head ]
[ title ] Page Title [ /title ]
[ meta ... / ]
[ /head ]
[ body ]
Content of the page
[ /body ]
[ /html ]

An appropriate with their name, function of Title Tag is to determine or to give the title to the certain page. If you look at the above structure, so the title of the concerned page is between [ title ] and [ /title ].

How are the main rules? Page title will be better if something like:

1. Page Title will be better if really stated or described topics or page content of pertinent website.
2. Page Title better if contain Keywords from the topics or page content of pertinent website.
3. The length of Page Title optimally contain maximum 80 characters
4. Related to number 3, just avoid using characters or words that not related to the keywords.
5. In a certain website, each pages better if having different Page Title to avoid duplicate content accusation from search engine.
6. Avoid to the empty Page Title on your website.
7. The word on the beginning of Page Title having much important level than others, so better if placing the main keyword of the page in the beginning of Page Title.

Why I said that the Title Tag as a different giver? That is because of the decrease of the URL and domain names effect to the SEO calculation, and then this Title Tag would much give a bigger effect to the SEO calculation.
