Actually, the meaning of RSS is not clear. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, but others say its Rich Site Summary or sometimes Rich Syndication Standard. RSS directory noted creator would be by Netscape, released sometime in March 1999. The UserLand application is included which is called scripting news. While Netscape stopped developing it, UserLand continued doing so. RSS-DEV Working Group, another company, also released their own version.
