RSS directories updates

These days RSS directories are popular. To allow others to syndicate their news stories, RSS is widely used initially by news sites. A lot of other websites are using RSS now. It is being used in flagging new forum auction listings, headlines, sales listings and others.
Actually, the meaning of RSS is not clear. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, but others say its Rich Site Summary or sometimes Rich Syndication Standard. RSS directory noted creator would be by Netscape, released sometime in March 1999. The UserLand application is included which is called scripting news. While Netscape stopped developing it, UserLand continued doing so. RSS-DEV Working Group, another company, also released their own version.

The specific web content is available through RSS feeds. Usually these graphics are depicted by orange rectangles and marked with ‘XML’ or ‘RSS’.
